I just posted in the General Knife Discussion forum about a failure I experienced with another manufacturers blade.
I was immediately flamed by a number of other posters.
The BK&T forum has been the vast amount of my experience on BF in general, and I was thinking that maybe all of BF was as helpful and civil as you guys...
Not so much...
Thank you for being a great group of people. I am still pretty new here but have always been made to feel welcome and appreciated. It would seem that this kind of acceptance is becoming rare on the internet.

Can't wait to attend one of the gatherings someday and meet some of you in person.

It is all about the golden rule. Stick around, maybe you will be able to help out someone new to the forums.

Your welcome.

Jeremy

This subforum and the kabar one is where i spend most my time.been on other forums unrelated to knives and it was the same thing...bunch of good people in a part of the forum bunch of douches others....hang in here,it s a good group, welcome.

so - prior to the breakage, what was your opinion of your camp 18?
for Becker content, tell us how you're going to piggyback a BK24 or BK16 on the sheath of your replacement. :D

Piggy backing my 14 would be pretty easy. The 18's sheath is loaded with grommet holes and a couple of Chicago Screws would do the trick.
Honestly, my only gripe is the handle. After almost an hour of brush-whacking, I had quite a hot-spot on the pinky-side pad of my palm that was sore for a couple days after. I tried adjusting my grip a few different ways but it didn't help much...
Why, oh why can't all handles be Becker handles? The world would be such a better place. :-)
