sry to hear that man, uncle did the same thing, lost four tips to a skillsaw, took a little time and his piano skills declined but he made a great recovery! i wish u the best of luck man!

thanks, im skeptical about the doc he says he can save them all. and left wondering how long im going to be out of work with 3 mouths to feed excluding my own. im really scared all the way to tears.

let us know how it goes, amigo.us Okies gotta stick together.uh oh-I can just se Texas Jack getting a pain in his gut!

Those injuries always heal up faster and better then you think they will. 15 years ago I was shooting a M-11 with a legal suppressor and the thread adaptor busted right during a burst and placed my hand in front of the supressor. One round went through my hand, the second took a big chunk of meat off the inside of my hand and the third split my thumb in half. 3 1/2 weeks later I was back to work with only a deerskin glove on my hand since it was very heat sensitive.

Right after the injury half of my hand was numb and the other half felt like a torch was being held on it. That was the first time I ever experienced cold sweats. IV Morphine did nothing for the pain, the stuff is very overrated.

My hand did heal up with very little permanet damage and over the years the scar tissue stretched out. I still have alot of lead fragments in my wrist but I can't feel them.

Keep your chin up! They will heal and you will be back in the saddle sooner then you think.

u gotta get things done fast, do u have insurance? look online and find a good surgeon near by, and get second and THIRD opinions! i just had my wisdom teeth pulled by the dentist who was very confident and reassuring. the thing too 4+ hours and then a second visit to tget the last one. after the whole thing, i find out from two other dentist that it should take no more than 45 min, they wre SHOCKED. lesson is, get lots of opinions and dont just talk to one doc. an injury like that is very serious and should be worked on by a doc who knows what hes doing! shotty docs and dirty ones prey off folks who dont research and dont ask questions.

this doc is the second. at the hometown er the doc i saw told me i was gonna loose a couple of fingers when my wife and mother in law hand stepped out to make some phone calls. this new doc has a good appraisle from who ive talked to. a few years back there was a bad wreak where a dudes hand was out of his window when his truck was flipped and then skidded over the road on top of his hand. the doc sewed his hand into the flesh of the guys ribs and after the skin took to it he cut it out and fixed it up. and for the insurance part i work for walmart distribution center. so i got blue cross blue sheild

Good luck man. They can do so much more with hand injuries these days.
Our prayers are with you tomorrow.

I had a similiar accident 20 yrs ago this year (but only one finger). It's almost back to normal. Think positive!

Holy crap. Seriously that is awful. Ask whatever doctor who he would go to if it were is son. Travel, if necessary. Good luck and heal up!

Yawoch! Man I'm glad to hear you got insurance. Good luck, and don't let life drag you down, just concentrate to healing up.

sorry to hear that. i had a friend sever his thumb and the doctor reattached it,now after a month and a half he has regained complete control. modern medicine has its advantages. youll be in my prayers.
