It seems this forum is turning into a place to post all the off topic stuff. We don't mind anything survival related but we're getting way too much other stuff not related to our forum. We're going to start closing and locking these threads.
 
We're not trying to stop all the off-topic stuff but this place is turning into a CB radio with the off-topic stuff that just really doesn't have a place here. If it's survival or knife related, then please post it here. Does not have to be RAT Cutlery knives. In fact, I would really like to see more "off topic" survival related stuff on here. All I'm saying is lets keep this a learning and teaching forum and try to avoid the petty arguments. And especially avoid the political posts. BFs has a place for those.
 
Sounds good to me. We have several forums that the off-topic stuff can fit in nicely.

The Political Arena and Current Events do have rules so check them out before posting there, like Registered Users can't post in Political.

But Community Center is on-topic for a lot of announcements and Whine & Cheese for wilder stuff.
 
OK, so we realize that this is the best little corner of the web and we all love to hang here but we have a little problem.

We have to try to keep the number of off topic posts down a little.

We realize that there's going to be a few from time to time, but were starting to go overboard a little.

RAT topics, survival related topics, questions about all things RAT and survival are always welcome here, but things that go too far from that area of interest really need to be posted in the community section as to keep this forum as streamlined as possible so questions and the like can be addressed effectively.

Got a question for Jeff about gear, machete's, RAT knives, philosophy, guns, weemon, life......ask it here.

Got a question about general contracting regulations, why we bombed the moon, whats the best color for your next car.....try the community center.

Not trying to be a jerk about it, but if it continues too much longer were going to start to draw the attention of "them" and we all know what that means.....
