I'm just posting a link to the "the good, the bad,the ugly" forum, where i posted about a BF member whose a regular to this forum, and he was totally bogus to me.
So I figure his worst punishment would be to be judged by his piers, you make the decision whose right and whose wrong.

No need to post any replies here,I just wanted to let everybody know that there's bogus balist's amongt's us.

Here's the link to my GB&U post:

I cannot believe the level you stoop to by posting this message. It truely is sickening how pitiful some of the inhabitants of this forum are. Everyone is so childish. This is like out in the playground at recess in god damn elementry school. You're trying to rally a mob against this guy who stiffed you on a balisong deal. BIG DEAL! It's not like he got your money and then kept it without holding up his part of the deal. He found a better offer and cut you outa the picture. It's the american way. Besides, what you did is in essence libel. You are defaming his name and his principles over a grudge match. Now he might not be able to sell his knives to the people of the forum. You know I bet if he can substantiate this enough, like by saying its a chief source of his income he can sue you. But I doubt it will get that far. My post will probably be deleted cuz once again I'm sure I'm saying stuff no one wants to hear/accept/acknoledge. If you have to ban me go ahead, but leave this post here. He shouldn't be able to defame DAN GSR (dont get me wrong. I dont even know this guy but i recognize injustice when i see it. and this reeks of it)

Have a good day.

I can tell your not much of an honorable guy NOOBER.....with an attitude like yours you won't be making any friends here anytime soon.
Not to mention with your business ethics,I doubt anybody will want to do any business transactions with you if you ever find something in the "trade" forum that you want.
Obviously your a newbie, cause if your were a regular to this board you would see that most of the people here live by their word,I guess "YOUR word" means nothing huh?
Your a newbie so I guess your just going to have to find out the hard way that your word and your honor are the only thing's people have to go on,especially when your dealing with somebody you just met off of the forums.
Stick around and listen up,you could learn a thing or two if you hang out here for awhile......L8R

Uhm, so now youre slamming my "word" and my "honor" over one post? That's a bit hasty jackass. Oh and by the way if you're so into honor and trust and all that jazz that only sounds good in fairytails then why do you carry a knife to begin with. If you had to use it for self defense would you? It seems you dont trust people to begin with. Of course I am only assuming you do carry a knife for self defense but it's more of an educated guess than anything. Oh and with all this talk about trust do you leave your door unlocked too? Bottom line is this world isnt safe, it isnt fair, and its not picture perfect. You wont make it that way either. So your pitty poor me story slamming on DAN GSR is just that. A sob story NO ONE wants to hear. They may take your side but they really do not give two shits. Stop dragging it out. It's sickening.

Mr. Noober is clearly a new member here and we should try to help him.

Please note, Mr. Noober, that Mr. Lee's original post was made quite some time ago and received zero replies. It was well on its way to the bottom of the list going to simply die in obscurity. By replying to it, you brought it back to high visibility, back to the top of the list, and created renewed attention to it. I'm sure that Dan appreciates you for resurecting this thread.

Here on BF.C, you don't have much. Anyone can register. Use any name you want. Lie on your profile all you like. There's no background check, no credit check, nobody verifies what you say. Furthermore, most of us will never meet face-to-face. In an environment like that, how can there be any kind of a trust transaction?

Recently, another forum member wired a very substantial sum of money to my bank account. In exchange, I mailed him a very valuable knife. It was a total trust transaction made even more amazing by the fact that the buyer lives about 10,000 miles from me literally.

Today, I mailed a valuable balisong knife to another collector. He's mailing me another valuable balisong in trade. They'll cross in the mail, at least that's what I assume will happen. Maybe he didn't mail me his knife. Maybe he never will. But, on the other hand, how does he know that I mailed him my knife? He doesn't. It's a trust transaction.

How can this sort of transaction go on?

All you have here, your only credential at BF.C is your honor and your reputation. That's all.

Are we brutal to those who betray that trust? Yes. That's why we can have trust transactions with a very high degree of success.

I'm going to take a risk and leave this thread open as I head out to my Arnis and kickboxing classes.

If people want to discuss the issues here, that's fine. But, KEEP IT CIVIL.

Mr. Noober, nobody has, as far as I can remember, been banned at BF.C for "saying stuff no one wants to hear/accept/acknoledge (sic)". But, people have been banned and posts deleted because of how they said it. The key is polite, civil discourse.

And with that, I'm off to go and break some sticks!

Gollnick is right, you are entitled to your opinion but we should all be civil about it. Also I have read part of Stagger's post on this and I can sort of agree with him. If I were told that there was an agreement I would assume that meant an agreement. If I agreed to sell or trade a knife that would be it, I would not turn around after that to sell to a higher bid, thats what auctions are for.
Just my opinion.

well I really didn't want to reply to this post but if it can remain civil than so be it. IMHO this is the most trustworthy forum on the internet, I personally feel that everyone here is like a brother or sister to me. Still I don't like to see sibling quarrels. As the good (and sometimes evil) Mr. Gollnick pointed out this place is completly based on trust and I can't think of anyone here I don't trust (don't give me a reason though;) ). At any rate this is enough of my little speech (if it could be called that). I'm off to check the other forum and meditate.

Good evening

You are absolutely correct about me resurecting a dead topic. That was stupid and hasty and really pointless. But I dont check the forum too often and so i have to check a page back here and there. I saw something I didn't think was right and i voiced my oppinion on it. For that I am not sorry. I am sorry that I did bring this thread to the top of the list again. It might be better to just remove it all together.
