howdy view!
i could not find a referance to this one ...
that said it done mean buck did not do it ...
times Buck was so concerned with makeing knives and pay roll and not records
that indeed there may not be a record of this...
when working for brown and root we were issued a buck knife as safty award also
and it had the same appearance as this one....
likely it is a lower production figure of 500 or less
there are other mine issues also,,,
there is are nich collectors of advertiseing knives that seak these out,,,
ebay bay sales est at likely 25 to 30....

Yep a cool 112...The lazer etch handle could be Buck, but there are a few companys out there who do that kind of work too...There are MUCH more 110 adv./award/ect.. than 112s Its really a nice score!

found this knife at auction...left hand upside-down BUCK USA stamp read with blade point down, black micarta inlays, two small brass inlay rivets and a stainless steele rocker rivet..per all the info I could gather this points to the first 112 model introduced..odd thing is the blade is longer and more sweeped than the 110...will add pic , and maby someone will know more about it...thanks..tneview

The knife pictured is a 110, Third Version, 7th variation from 1969.

I couldn't find any info on 1969 third version, 7th variation of a 110...also I wasn't aware
the BUCK USA mark was upside-down read with blade point down...please don't mistake
my curiosity with rudeness....thanks theview

...Nice find there view...If you are certain that the inlays ( scales ) are micarta, it was probably done by a Buck employee back in 1969. That version and variation came with solid Macassar ebony scales as standard from Buck back in '69...:)...I have a 5th version of that variation with the same stamp on the other side...

For comparison. Bottom knife is a 3rd version, 7th variation.
