Office-carry, SAK, problem and solution

I switch up my work carry between clipped knives and a SAK - when I'm clip-less I have a problem.

PROBLEM: carrying a SAK in kakhi pants, hated how the old boy slipped to the bottom of my pocket - uncomfortable, eye sore and had to dig to get at it
SOLUTION: PARACORD, CELTIC BUTTON KNOT, BACK POCKET, BELT

I came up with this dead simple solution for carrying my SAK in the office.

I love it and carry this way all the time.

Hope this helps someone.

Simple and functional. I like it. I'll have to try it out soon.

I do something similar. I use a lanyard with a plastic snap hook that i can attach to my belt loop.

Thanks for sharing!

Nice one! I do something similar with a ranger bead, if I didn't I wouldn't have any saks left :p,

Great idea if that lump is uncomfortable. I carry a larger SAK (but still fairly thin) in my pocket all the time and I don't find it uncomfortable. Guess it depends on the pants.

If anyone asks about your lump, just tell them its your sak.

Pfft.

In all seriousness, that looks like an interesting idea.

I use a Skinth pocket sheath. They're thin and hold a flashlight and even my Swisschamp vertically without a problem.

Haha - "its just my sak".

I have seen those Skinth sheaths around - how do you find yours works out for you? I was thinking of getting a larger one for a leatherman/light but who knows.

Thanks for the props - this has worked out really well for me.

1. super fast to deploy
2. barely noticeable - very comfortable
3. works in 90% of my khakis

keep carryin' guys

Also - please feel free to post other office-carry solutions!

Small neck knives are fairly office-friendly, but can be hard to get out from under a shirt... I found that rigging them for horizontal carry works great, as you can hide them underneath your belt.

A professor of mine keeps his on a pocket watch chain, something like:
