Hi,
I am looking for another office EDC folder. I have the Mini Griptilian and I was wondering if either the Spyderco Endura or Native is a bit thinner
than the somewhat thicker Mini Griptilian?
Thanks

I don't have a endura but the native frn is 3/8" thick ithink that's a bit thinner:D
hope it helps.

A SOG Visionary II would serve well. It is quite thin and has a deep-carry clip.

Ill second the recommendations for a Benchmade 940 or Spyderco Chaparral, the chaparral is incredibly thin and sexy imo

Kershaw Chill - Thin, light, and big blade to handle ratio. $15.00

Handle: CNC-machined G-10, Blade length: 3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm), Closed length: 3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm), Overall length: 7 in. (17.8 cm), Weight: 2.0 oz.

The Endura is thinner than the Mini Grip for sure. Don't have a Native but I have held the native 5 and I do remember it being thicker than the Endura. If you are looking to stay within the Benchmade lineup then the 530 is probably the thinnest knife they produce. Outside of the big three the thinnest production knife I owned was the Al Mar Falcon Ultralight which was about 7mm thick at the handle.

the endura/delica line comes to mind as they are both very thin and light as well as being offered in many "people friendly" colors.

The Endura is noticeably thinner, but is also noticeably longer when closed. I have found removing the clip makes both knives more suitable for office EDC.

Endura is much thinner.
Though if you want something for office carry the smaller Delica would work better.

However, have you looked at the Spyderco Squeak? Small, thin, light, no lock but it's not needed, low ride clip, good steel.

Another good Spyderco Slipit to look at would be the Urban - Good steel, solid, comes in friendly colors(Orange especially), very light at only 2oz, thin, low ride clip.

The Spyderco Air however is the ultimate gentleman's/office knife in my opinion. Beautiful silver twill scales, light weight, milled titanium liners, liner lock, M4 blade steel, slides right into the pocket, not even noticeable that it's there, weighs 1.27oz and can handle all kinds of work.

That would be my pick if I had the money. If not, the Squeak is cheaper than the Endura and Native. The Urban is just a little more and has nice G-10 handles over FRN.

Listen to BladeChick she knows of which she speaks. I recently got the Air and its perfect for an office setting. Very classy looking, light as a feather and is made with top notch steel. I also recently got my first slipit, the Spyderco Pingo. It's also light and very functional. Might be the sharpest Spydie I have ever gotten.

I like my Benchmade 530 which is the REI version in a nice non-evil blue. The standard version has a different steel [can't remember the number]

Great, thanks!
Since I already have a Benchmade, I will go with Spyderco and decide between the Delica or the Chaparral.
