Office Monkey BK stealth carry

So I have been trying to acquire more fancy folding blades to easily conceal clipped to my pocket; however I keep getting pulled back into the Becker Forums.

**Long time lurker for those of you wondering, seldom have time to post.**

I think y'all have about the most entertaining section on BF which keeps bringing me back.

What are some recommended ways other office monkeys have carried a Becker at work. (Or other fixed blade for that matter).

This becomes increasingly more daring as the recent headline news plasters troubled youth using steak-knives as weapons .

Let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance.

I had already been an EMT for a couple of years when I went to work for a major corp as a cube rat. I joined the company's emergency response team and brought in my response belt with 2 Kabar 1232s, a folding seat belt cutter, pager, radio, pocket mask, glove pouches and emergency shears. Hung it on a hook on the cube wall and put my response bag under it. With all that hanging there, no one even paid attention to what was on me. Whenever I had to go to any meeting in any building, I would just strap on my gear belt and grabbed my bag. After a few meetings, it was old hat to every one that Z carried a lot of stuff. They really didn't care what I carried around after a couple of CPR calls.

So I'd recommend joining your company first response team or, if they don't have one, get with safety officer about starting one and, voila, you can carry what ever you can convince the safety officer you need. :D

BK14 in Skystorm leather pocket sheath. My coworkers know I love knives, so I don't get odd looks (anymore).

I EDC'd my BK2 in the office for months before I got a new folder in the rotation. Now It comes in the car with me, but most people didn't notice. The lady I worked with side by side noticed it about 2 months after I started carrying it lol. My boss didn't care as he is into hunting and was asking me about it because he needed a new knife. My next purchase will be a BK14 which I will be for front left pocket or cross draw.

The only way to top that is to EDC a BK9 in the office.

Bk14 in a KSF pocket sheath with a leatherman juice. Nice and discrete.

Which model KSF sheath you have? I have a KSF Pocono sheath, and was wondering if the BK14 fit comfortably in there. Also, do you carry the 14 with handles, wrapped or bare? Thanks! Stay sharp.

I have the Adirondack. 14 with scales. I taped the blade then ran the sheath under hot water. Molded perfectly. You have to let the sheath dry for a couple of days.

official policy at my current office is "no weapons"; we have all the forks and spoons, but pretty much zero plastic knives. it's to laugh.

pretty much EVERYONE in the office has a folding knife in their desk, not to mention at least one person with a chef knife ;)

i'm fairly sure one guy is concealed carry pistol, but it's hard to see if he's printing with his sport coat on.

so, like in Monster Hunter, do what you need to do, and maybe you get fired. maybe your boss IS a werewolf ;)

if you have a brief case or backpack, carry something something in that. on your person? i've seen several people rig a BK11/14 inside the pants carry with some paracord

i work in the plant mostly, but we have our office between the shop floor and the front office. the office weenies are used to us walking around with tools jingling and jangling. nobody really seems to notice it in my back pocket, or on my desk when i sit down.
i'd like to carry it around my neck, under my shirt, but i've heard of them falling out. also, i work around machines, so until i can find a quick release connector it stays in my pocket.

I work out of my home office most days of the week, so my office manager has no problem with me carrying around my BK9! That's kind of cheating though I guess.
