NOOOOOOOOOOO. Sigh, looks like the wallet is taking another hit soon.
 
Well, this post made me order my 3rd Spyderco in less than 2 weeks. Already bought the Chaparral and the Para Military 2. Now the Caly 3 is on the way. Spyderco is going to get me divorced, bankrupt, or both .....
 
The Gayle Bradley Air?!?! Kristi say it isn't so!
I feel it's the nicest gentleman's folder in the lineup.
Perhaps someday it will make a return with a different scale material and a deep carry wire clip.
For now I suppose I should look for a spare before they are all gone.
 
The PITS folder didn't last very long.
 
I'll say exactly what I said over on Spyderco forum:

Hopefully this just means there will be a new revised part number for an Air with a pocket clip and more subtle scale material.

Also, a Double Bevel with another grind variation...

A new Caly part number with HAP40, or possibly Caly 4 with screw together construction.

Seems I recall photos of blue anodized PITS, so that may be a new model #.

Gonna miss the Starmate. Would REALLY love to see that one return with some HAP40 or Super Blue.
 
I'll repeat my sentiments from the Spyderco forum.

The DB could have been a great knife if it were offered in one or two sprints, or perhaps moved production to Tiachung for an S30V overhaul. Instead it was left to stagnate and die. The DB is an outstandingly capable and beautiful knife.
 
I want a caly with G10 that isn't black. 3 or 3.5, I don't really care. Maybe that'll be in the future. :)
 
i picked some bandannas this last year,never thinking they would discontinue these! i only use for photos with my knifes.
 
Alas, the Memory is soon to be just a memory as well. I'm sad to see it go. :(

Agree with you. I never liked it on pictures. Even more: In general I do not like metal scales, tip down carry, glass fiber and I need choil. I bought this knife a year ago under my buddy Ken influence and love it. I carry it frequently. It is in my pocket today. Beautiful gents knife and an excellent slicer. 2 mm thin FFG blade is a dream.
