That wasn't so bad! The Chinook 4 is the coolest knife on there but kinda niche. With all the K390 arriving it isn't hard to watch ZDP-189 go.

Whale Rescue Blade being discontinued makes me sad. :(
I always wanted to get one of those. Although I'm not around them very often, I'd like to be equipped to save whales. Just seems to be something I should be equipped for.

Agree. That is a high quality specialty model that is famous.

Gonna spring for a Bradley Bowie finally. Missed the South Fork and don’t want to pass on both.

The ZDP189 knives are not really a huge surprise, but I have zero regrets about buying the Delica in this steel. It's a great knife, and was good value too. The basic Delica in VG10 not so much

Not much of concern to me on this list.

Always considered the Tusk just a curiosity (and an expensive 1 at that) because I'm not a sailor and have little need for a tool to untie rope/knots with.

The Bradley Bowie and Proficient are/were excellent knives but always seemed too similiar and to expensive than others. Not into carrying neck knives, so was never interested in the Ark, apart from the fact that I think there many others that are better.

The only other discontinued knife of relevance to me is the Chinook 4. I own an earlier version (forget which) but am curious if this is finally the end of the line. Anyone know?

The Chinook could have been nice, but it was just silly. 1) Power Lock + spindly pivot screw = strong up and down, weak side to side. Huh? 2) Super thick behind the edge for what? to hammer nails?
It won't be missed.
