Tomahawk throwing - First person to hit target 10 times or so wins.

Fire making contest - OREGON FAL'ER's show unless Widerstand wants it. First person to burn a string in half. One knife, one ferro rod. Thats IT.

Shooting Contest - Abrasion is running this show.

Scary story contest - Maybe?
Possible cooking contest?

I will be coming to Ethan's, just gotta figure out some travel logistics, time off is already secured. I'm on a bacon diet, so I'll have to bring some home or send it to myself fo sho!

Bacon is essential to the gathering experience.

I saw pictures from the last event. Looked like a blast. Knives on the log pic was impressive.
 
It just won't be the same without Widerstand and Mingo...can't we adjust the date to accommodate them? Just saying...
 
Yeah my attendances is still up in the air at this point.

One thing that could be fun for a fire contest would be the first person to achieve flame from solar ignition (that is if was sun). Everyone bring your magnifying glasses!

I'm going to try to get my brother to come along too.
 
I reconfirmed the dates with Kurt, (property manager) and it's a go. People should think about arriving at noon friday or later.

It's on my to do list to edit the op on this thread ill try and get to that asap. Not on my computer nearly as much these days
 
Im going to have to bow out of this one. Just started a new job and I can't get the time off :( hopefully I will catch up with you guys in the spring

I am looking forward to this one! Only thing I am not sure on yet is my menu but that is not hard to figure out. Got lots of steel to play with :)

Bill, I saw some of your blades featured in Outdoor Life. Very nice. :thumbup:
 
Looks like a small gathering this time around, opening weekend of deer season. Need to get ahold of abrasion and see if he's going.
