As everyone knows, Uncle Bill, Yangdu and Pala will be travelling back in the very near future to Nepal

Let's wish them well on their travels back to Nepal.

Namaskar Pala: I hope you enjoyed your stay here in North America and take back good memories.

Namaskar Uncle Bill and Yangdu: Have an exciting time travelling to Nepal and enjoy yourselves. Take your time getting back here. I am sure that those of us who are HIKV sufferers will survive

. I especially look forward to the stories you'll have to tell when you get back.

Bon Voyage and may your karma be great!!!

Uncle Bill,

I second all of Harry's well wishes!! Make sure to take time and enjoy the sights, sounds, and people. Don't work to hard!
Best wishes and have a safe and happy trip.

I too share all of the sentiment in the above posts, have a wonderful and safe journey. Although, not too safe, a little excitement is good for you.

I also want to say that since I started reading this forum, I belive that I have learned more here than in high school! What a sad thought, but true in many ways. Best of luck, while in Nepal and have fun.

Have a safe trip ! I assume that you were able to talk to my sister a couple of days ago. Have fun in your travels.

Here's hoping Kumar in particular completely freaks out over what you're bringing over

.

Have fun, don't work TOO hard over there, and we're all eagerly awaiting your return.

On a related note, how much progress has been made on the new "Supershop"? I can just see you stepping into the middle of construction/setup and getting drafted into heavy labor, that'd be a mess. Best scenario would be that they'd already finished setup when you get in, or are close...?

Uncle Bill, I've been out of town for a while so I've kinda lost touch -- but at least I got back in time to wish you, Yangdu, and Pala a joyous, and safe, trip. I and the other forumites look forward to many wonderful stories and photos about your trip! Give Pala our best warmest wishes. I hope his stay here was everything he had hoped.

Many thanks, Steven. I've got to get organized for this journey. I haven't even started thinking about what to take. I have the gifts and pix for the kamis and that's it. I may have to buy some local garb if I'm not carefu. But, I probably will anyway.

Who, me worry!

'He's losin' it... (Words spoken about me by a visitor seeing me with my Khuk!)
Lucky for them I'm not...

Many thanks again! And, Bob, that's right!

Bagh dekki sau dhan.

I'm planning to take a lot of pix to share with all of you. I hope the xray machines at the airport does not erase them as it once did. I'll try to get most developed in Nepal to avoid that possibility.

Gelbu has some kind of ancient computer so I'll see if I can make a few posts from Nepal.

Khukuri FAQ

Be safe Uncle, Yangdu, and Pala Have a good journey, and say 'HELLO' to everyone there for us. Take some pictures of the kami's and their families for us to see as well.

Have a safe trip. It will be interesting seeing more of how the kami's live and make khukuri's.

Take the film out of your camera and carry it with you. The airports I have been to do not X-ray people. I can think of some potential law suit problems if they did.
