Official color of Limited Edition blue Barrage?

Hey folks,

I've decided on a mini Barrage for my new work knife and always loved the Warriors and Wonders limited edition blue from a while back. I see that the only way to get a serrated blade (I'm a firefighter and use such serrations often) in a color like that would be to order it from the custom shop on their site.

Does anyone know if the color from the blue limited edition Barrage from Warriors and Wonders was the Bright blue or Royal blue? From various pictures in different lighting conditions I've found online, I can't discern which one it is.

Royal blue from the custom shop is different than the Warriors and wonders but I can't speak for the light blue from the custom shop. I will say that I don't believe any exclusive colors can be matched in the custom shop.

True. You cannot get a color matched that has been used as an exclusive for a dealer previously. Most, not all manufacturers do things this way.
 
Excellent, thanks for the help. With that being said, does anyone happen to have a pic of the Royal blue on a barrage? Their custom configuration screen makes it a bit hard to get a feel for true colors.
 
The royal blue is substantially darker than the color of the W&W version. Their pictures of the actual knife aren't very telling but the brightest portions are about what the color truly looks like.

Thank you for the pic. It does appear darker and perhaps a little more vivid.

Now that I see it, I do recall seeing other pics of yours with the same knife, as well as your mini Barrage collection. If you ever want to sell your REI green with the satin serrated blade, let me know!

Haha thanks but that one is a keeper. Too hard to find. I have owned 3 sbk models at various times over the past few years though. Ended up selling two of them and putting a d2 plain edge blade in the other. Actually just swapped the scales on a 585bkd2-org.
