I'd like to start an "Official" Morseth thread. Harry, Steve, whatever. I became a "Knife Nut" because of a Harry Morseth knife that my father had. It stated my passion for knives when I was a child (35 years ago?)

I'm going to bomb this thread with as many pics as I can. I will post all of mine first, but, I want to see every Morseth knife that all of you have as well!!!

Those are wonderful knives; I am in awe of your Morseth collection. I have just one and I posted it in another thread here last week which was a reply to an OP post of another great Morseth. I hope you get some more action in your thread. Wonderful fixed blade knives do not get the attention they deserve, in my never-humble-opinion. I suppose this is partly because of the demographic which has changed over the century to a population for which fixed blade knives are not really appropriate day to day. Also, the great ones are very expensive. I have an excellent fixed blade on my belt most hours of most days.

I don't have one but my ex-father in law bought this one back in the 70's. He said it was $50 back then and he about croaked paying that much for it. His Dad and his brother in law also bought them at the same time. His Dad's disappeared after his death. It's a S Morseth with the sheath made like the others in the previous photos.

I visited with a pretty nice guy today at a gun show in Post Falls. He had 8 Morseth knives on his table. Would really love to get one but it’s still pretty hard for me to justify it, but dang they were nice. I did buy something from him, just not a Morseth:(
