I, like many others I am sure, would buy a small Umnumzaan right now if it was offered.

Please show your support for the production of a smaller version of the Umnumzaan by expressing your interest in this thread so that CRK realizes how many of us are out there hoping for a reduced version of this great knife.

An umnum with a 3" or 3.25"blade would be nice to see. The current umnum and large sebs are too bulky and heavy for me. No use - my small seb can do anything that the large ones can do. I've never needed anything bigger.

Yeah, I think a blade less than 3" is necessary for the many areas that only allow knives with a 3" or shorter blade to be legally carried.

Yes, I would LOVE a small Umnumzaan!!!

I usually carry a small Sebbie, so a small Umnumzaan would be awesome!!

While they make the small version i wouldn't mind if they got rid of the glass breaker

Yes. I would like a smaller umnum. However, I did buy one so that I could feel and experience for my self. Mine will be deliver tomorrow.

Yep, i'd love a smaller version...coupled with lots of money, and a better exchange rate between the AUD & USD...

thx for reading this Santa.

Who else thinks this comment makes sense? Lets see....Umfaan (little boy?) And unumzaan (big boy? or boss?) I think we are up for a re-designed umfaan...I thought that I did read that they were bringing the umfaan back. So..A reasonable man might make the correlation?

What say you?

About the size of the Umfaan! :D

Id take a small one, Id like to see it with out the handle texturing though.
The Umnum is a great knife but i just cant get past that texturing, its way to busy for me.

i hope no offense is taken by anybody, but im just being honest and giving my personal opinion. the texture on the handle and the shape of the spine of the blade makes this knife a no-go for me. i would jump on it if the back of the blade wasnt all over the place, and the handles didnt have that texture (but its mainly the shape of the spine of the blade, TBH). because of those two features, and those two alone, the sebenza is the knife for me (not that its bad to have to have a sebenza) :p

i know this isnt constructive in a "show your support" thread, and for that, i apologize. but i figured that maybe if the reeves family reads this thread, itll be constructive criticism that may or may not be taken with a grain of salt! :D

that said, reeves makes excellent knives of excellent quality! all of them!

take care!

I'd love a small Umnum.
3" or less blade.
Keep everything else the same...glass-breaker and all. If they start removing features, it will end up just like a Seb. Not that thats a problem, just already have one.
