And last but not least, the neck sheath

I will use these and provide some feed back.

First off, my wife was able to use the Native Lightweight with the hollow regrind and she was cautioned that the knife would cut faster than pretty much any knife she has ever used. She came back in and said "you weren't kidding"!

Prior to today I was mostly using the Native III. Here are a couple of action pics:

I have not had to resharpen yet any of the knifes. I have also been using the Native III for veggie prep for my son's meals.

As it has been said before, these knives were pretty sharpmaker friendly. I sharpened them on the Back Bevel side of the sharpmaker down to the edge. Each step took about 15 strokes per side to look right to me under 10x magnification held under an architect's lamp. I did give them each a couple of passes on my home made strop with green chrome rouge on it.

This was a great bunch of knives to get to play with for a week. I enjoyed seeing how the three different steels performed at such thin edge geometries. Thanks to Gunmike1 for the chance to play with his knives!

Forgive my ignorance, but how does one get in touch with the person who did the regrinds? I'd love to send him a couple of my Spydies.

Thanks in advance. Sorry if my question is a silly one, just getting into the madness that is knife collecting.

Thanks!
S.

You can PM me here on blade forums, email me or give me a call.

I will warn you that I am trying to get ready for Blade so I won't be able to do any regrinds for 2 weeks... :)

Tom, thanks for making this passaround possible by doing such a great job in the regrind. Second, I think you are in trouble when you get back from Blade. I think a big rig is going to pull up with boxes of Spydercos in need of regrinds! I know both myself and Doug have a few, and lots of other people have said they have regrinds to send to you. Anyway, you've got the fun of working your butt off for Blade, and hopefully you have lots of fun and lots of sales at Blade.

Doug, thanks for reviewing the knives and tuning them up for the next guys. I really appreciate the great pics and in depth review. The more people see and read about the performance of these knives the more poor Tom gets swamped with packages of knives to transform.

Mike

Does the Endura feel lighter and easier to open? One of my complaints with the Endura is that thick blade does not easily open.
