I know, I know, people get tired of reading about how a new guy gets his first ESEE (or whatever). Well, let me bore you again, because my son just called me and said that our Junglas came. And he said that it is both a monster and beautiful! So, parden me if you will, but remember your excitement when you got your first ESEE? I already have an ever growing want list. And hey, my birthday is this month. Sounds like a good excuse to buy myself something. Something sharp perhaps?!?

Talk about starting with the big boy. After that purchase, now all ESEEs are “cheap”. At least that’s what I tell the wife.

I’d say next you need a 3 or 3MIL. :D
 
They are very addicting that's for sure.... I have the same problem. I've given a lot of $ to Jeff and Mike! They do an amazing job, and their knives really are a value IMO.
 
Go big or go home :) congrats on going big. It's a great blade, and we never tired of hearing "OMG I just got XXXX" Hell I still do it everytime.
 
Junglas as a first.. glad to hear you are starting with the big boys ;) It is a great knife :thumbup:
 
Welcome to to the ESEE bug club, you have been bitten. Since you choose the biggest first maybe the the smallest might be the next choice. The Izula has many options ranging from color of the knife to handle choice, scales or cord wrap.

nope, not me! i can never get sick of new guys posting about getting their first esee. congrats & happy birthday! however, one thing i hate though is a thread with no pics...better fix it soon or else :eek:
 
Thanks for the birthday wishes and all the kind comments. These days, anytime I can get out of my bed under my own power is cause for celebration! Another question......what is the significance of the number on the right side of the junglas blade? If it is a serial # then I have something really cool to share. If it's the same # on all of the blades then I just feel silly. Thanks again!

Thanks. I thought it was a serial #. Well then, my newly aquired junglas has the serial #300. OK, the reason I thought this was cool is because of the movie "300" and the significance that the Spartan blades played. Keep in mind, it doesn't take much to entertain me.

Congrats on your first ESEE. I dont own a junglas yet, but have only read good things about them.
 
We actualy do get sick of all those topics of new stuff. But you can come clean by posting some pictures of putting the Junglas to work ;)

Congrats, welcome and happy b-day. Starting with the big boy has one advantage, the rest is always cheaper :)
