I received my first 3" XM-18 today. Now I fully understand the reputation of Hinderer folders. I am completely in awe of this little machine and it feels so good in my pocket. I'm just looking for excuses to use it. What a beauty!!!! I'd post a photo but it's just a regular looking XM-18 with black G-10. Nothing special...except that it's mine!!! Action is already in the sweet spot as far as I am concerned. A HUGE thank you to P40_Warhawk!!!! And a huge thank you to all the members here who have provided information and advice. As you can imagine I am over the moon right now...:D
 
No such thing as a regular looking XM-18. Show us your knife. Welcome I just got my xm-18 3" also. I have had a 3.5 for a little while but this little 3" is something.Pictures we want Pictures!!! :-) I'll show you mine if you show me yours. :-)

Well then here is mine. Was exactly like yours until I added the yellow ti.
I am beginning to think the XM-3" is the perfect EDC, well except when hunting. Correct me if you think I am wrong.

Sweet! I actually bought a yellow G10 scale as well but I decided to return it because I started looking at the Ti replacements and have decided to save up for a bronze Ti side when it's available again! I might have to get one of those skulls too. That's really cool... No clip huh? I really like the clip because it helps me to hold the knife securely in my hand with just my middle finger while I flip with the pointer... Perfect design.
 
The bronze will look great! I am going to give the non-clip a try and see how I like it. Guess not having clips on my knives for many many years gave me the idea. I love the clip on my 3.5 but just going to give this a try. I will be looking for the pics of the Bronze 3" ti when you get it.
 
Congratulations! Mine just came in on Saturday, However, it's a non-flipper with marsh green scale.

Very sweet knife indeed and welcome to the club. Heres a pic of my one and only( so far) 3' slicer.
I was also planning on picking up a smooth bronze ti or smooth blue ti scale when I can. I think with
that addition it will make it the ulitmate badass EDC knife.
