Offline for a few days

Tomorrow morning, my computer is going into the shop for a few days. I'm geting bigger hard drives, one of those cool ZIP Drives, and a CD drive that writes too.

But, I will be mostly offline for a few days. Clay's on vacation. So, Armand, you're in charge. This is a tuff group to keep in line, you know?

Why don't you install the new pieces by yourself? You'll save a lot of money and can get it done the same day.

Unless of course you don't know how to.

It's a Gateway. To keep the warranty, they have to do such work. They have a shop up in Beaverton. They don't charge much. Their prices are reasonable. They're also replacing the floppy drive which hasn't worked in a couple of months. And, since they've done many of these, they'll get everything right. They can also transfer the data from my old drives to my new drives and reformat the old drives so that I can donate them to a charity.

If it was just one thing, I'd probably do it myself. But doing all of these things at once could get a bit sticky.
