Just a quick little thread about the Offset. You hear a lot about how useful? the blade shape is etc... but I have to tell you it RULES within its sweet spot. And for me that has most often been in the yard an among the %^&*#@ blackberry bushes. The g10 version is especially good in cold, wet weather. And the blade is incredible at quickly wacking through most branches and blackberry vines in easy single wacks. It's actually fun ;) Don't expect this to be a long lived thread, just thought I'd throw out the experience

Which part of the blade is doing the most cutting?

I keep both parts sharp, and for this type of use I can't rule out the recurve since I pull when I chop. I would imagine the front, however. If I had to saw or finish off a branch, I would use the recurve.

Funny how technology has taken over our lives...I see the word blackberry and I think about the portable Blackberry device for text messaging!

agreed. i thought that OE had somehow destroyed a blackberry with the Offset
I don't think that would be too hard to do...I'm pretty sure that I could mess up a Blackberry pretty well, even with my little ol' ZT 0200.:D.:D.

Yah, when I get that "1000 yard stare" in my eyes, it can frighten small electrical appliances and most small animals into a "messed it up frenzy".:D.:D.

Yup, I haven't felt this way about a knife since I received my first Cyclone...I like my new ZT 0200 even more than that. It is truely perfect, at-least for me it is... I really like big, solid, thick, heavy-duty folders and this ZT is it...So much so that I've even put up 3 of my Kershaws up for trade, looking for another ZT 0200, this time one with the part serrated edge, as a mate for my current ZT 0200, plain-edge.:).
