I know a lot of you have been struggling with the decision between and new g10 Kershaw Offset, and the Spyderco Jester... There's not a huge difference in size. But I thought I might point out a few things that made the decision easy for me. First, I prefer the durability of the Offset's coated blade. I'm worried that after hard use, the jester will show every little scratch. Second, I like the Offsets recurve. I'm not sure what Spyderco was thinking, but if they were trying to go head to head with Kershaw on this one, they really made a blunder there. There's actually a lot more stuff to list, like the stud-lock vs. the ancient lock back design... but I'll let you all make your own judgements. To be fair, I'd be happy to have either in a life or death survival situation.
