I got this from Jo and Nate the first time I ever met them at Blade going on 20 years ago….arguably the sharpest knife I own, the blade will flex over my thumbnail.

I saw the pre-orders for the new version and thought I’d post this one…

Old skinner smaller than the new one? The "not accurate" specs put the skinner at 7 7/8, edc is listed at 7 1/2. I realize we are splitting hairs here, i am trying to get a feel how slender this skinner actually is. It looks small, and big at the same time. OG overlaid on EDC is shorter

~5% smaller, yes. New one is going to be 7 7/8" according to the preorder thread. EDC 1.2 is 7.6".

Agreed. As much as I would have liked a dek pre-order (still havent acquired a d3v dek unfortunately), im very excited for this pattern. The EDC doesnt suit me if Im honest, as fine of a knife as it is. The DEK1 is my edc and I think the skinner could possibly compete for time on my belt.
