OG Military liner lock material?

There's no way it's titanium on the basic black G10 satin S30V model is it? I thought it was steel but it has a kinda greyish sparkle to it that doesn't match the finish on paramilitary knives compression locks so now it has me wondering why it is this color?

It's non-stainless steel, don't know what kind, with some additional surface treatment. Must be harder than the tang, so > 65 HRC (Rex45), assuming they use the same hardware on all Militaries. On some of my Militaries, I can see on the top how the lockbar is matched by hand to the tang (with a hammer?). Cool :)

Edited my thread title, by lockbar I meant the liner side that locks up on the blade. Just realized to try a magnet that does stick to it so it has to be steel. Wonder what the finish applied to it is because it is quite fancy looking
