So I've been gaining some popularity on reddit with my caveman knives and just wanted to ask the fine people here if they knew where to source some obsidian knife blanks that are already knapped. I'm not good at that at all and typically just grind the edges down or use preformed arrowhead/spearhead types currently but would like to offer other blade types. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it does but most of those are either not formed, waay too thick, or are from India or China. I've found a few places that I am currently using but I guess I should have been a little more specific, I'd like to source some from people who are US based or perhaps some fellow forum members. I also need bone and antlers but those are a whole new headache. I appreciate your response but I have exhausted most resellers supply already...at least the affordable ones. lol
My goal is to keep these at $100> including sheaths but custom ones will no doubt run higher.

Just gotta use the right search terms! "Flintknapping supplies" turned up the first one and "flintknapping blade blanks" turned up the second.

I think I've got a few blanks sitting around the house... Where are you from?

Can we see some pictures of knife you make ? I like that idea for caveman knives 👍

These are the ones I've made and sold so far and I'm working on different blades, handle materials, merchandise like T-shirts and hats. Just waiting on a friend to submit a few designs then myself and a fellow redditor who is a marketing expert are going to figure out which one to use. It's taken off so fast that I'm still wondering if I'm dreaming or something. Just trying to bankroll my mother-in-law's retirement so she can stop working herself to death and have some fun while I'm at it.

I wholeheartedly welcome any and all criticism or critique if you have any and if you have pointers I'm all ears. I'm a total newbie at this but I have people asking about customs already and I made my first international sale last week. To say that I am excited is an understatement.
