Hey guys,

So, after I had my thread about looking for a new way to carry some basic's while in the field, Bushman5 sent me an e-mail, and said he would send the tactical Taylor mini mav to me, free of charge. I was thrilled as you could Imagine.
With the way everything has been going, I was gonna pick up a few things here and there, I'm very tight on money right now, cut backs at work, GF loosing her position and over all things were kinda going down hill. But, I still needed the gear, and was just going to pick things off the list one at a time.

I was anxiously waiting, and monday came still nothing in the mail box, so I figured it would come the next day, anyways, got an e-mail from bushman, and he was like, "so how do you like it? It says it was shipped and delivered today" (this being monday) So I grabbed the keys, and shipped my butt off to the mail box.

Opened'er up, and what else, but a quaint little package, with my name on it.:D

So, I get home, and the ladie is looking at me like Im an Idiot, you can only imagine what a grown man looks like when he's squealing like a little girl with anticipation. Last time he sent me something, it was packed with extra gear, so in other words, I was a little shaky.

So, I cut it open, looked in side and saw MUCH more than I was expecting.

Only thing that is mine in that pic is the AMK kit, firestarter and whistle. I was just staring at it all, wonder how I was going to pack the thing, which ways I was going to wear it, and what I wanted to stick on the front. Then I took the sharkie and started hitting things with it, just to see how tuff it was. Looked at the Ka-bar, still in shock, it hadn't settled in yet that I received all this gear FOR FREE!!!

ugh, awesome.....

Anyways, I owe Bushman a HUGE thanks, It interesting, because everytime I get a wish list going, he ends up giving me a ridiculous deal, or even better.

I now nickname him SANTA.:D

Anyways, on to the pics and review.

First up, The maxpedition Monkey admin pouch, and TT mini Mav.
When I first started handling the stuff, I was very impressed with the F&F of it all. The Max was typical, great work on it. everything matched up nice, built like a tank ta-boot.

The TT mini mav was also a worthy addition. I have never owned anything from them, but I have been wanting to try something from them for a while now, and I was impressed. F&F also nice, wasn't oddly shaped or anything wrong with it. The Molle webbing was sewed on well, and I think it will last for a while.

Now for some pics.

This is the furthest back pocket:

The main pocket, light, sharkie, sharpener, main use stuff. This pocket has two bands sewed in on the front, and back panel of the pocket. It just organizes things like the lights, sharkie and what not.:

Next is it the middle pouch, it has velcrow at the top to keep the contents in. Its a nice feature, I keep my Spare cr's in there:

The next pouch, just as the last three are all the depth of the kit that you see. In this one, I just have a garbage bag, but im just filling the pockets for pics:

In the last pocket, which is half the depth of the rest, I have some duct tape:

Of course, the outside has some stretch material, great for glow sticks:

And, if carries exactly the way I wanted it too.

More to come.....

Now, I had to get the ka-bar out and try it some. I am pleased with this little guy as well, decent edge work, sheath fits well, no rattle overall a nice little package.

It's very form fitting, which I like. Has plenty'o carry options, even had it rigged up to the mini mav for a while. Its a little small in my sausage fingers, but im NOT complaining, again, overall very impressed with it.

Just another glory shot.

So, to finish up. Another thanks to bushman, really helped me out in some rough times man, again, x-mas will be good for ya this year man.:D

The maxpedition is better than I had thought, it fits great, and holds all the gear I need, the TT also makes it very easy to attach what ever I want, where I want it. Got my basics taken care of, which is all I need for me while in the woods, or cruising the city like wise.

What do you all think?:D

So sweet man! Too cool. Very generous gift and a real winner of a setup. Thanks for the pics and sharing the good vibes.

hehehe, :D

If you get a Tactical tailor or similar Mag pouch, it will hold that AMK kit perfectly! also the sheath for the Kabar TDI is a bit loose, i would maybe heat it up with a heat gun slightly and press it in a bit.

Glad you got the loot in time!

wow... what a great little set up Fonly... though not really my style, i really like those TT mini-mav's... it seems like the carry options are endless... i'm actually thinking about getting one now, thanks to you and Bushman...:D

this forum is great... that is really cool of Bushman5 to hook you up... right on man..

whoa.... Thats a really cool setup. I really like it.

The price was right too....;)

Some great dudes round here!!

That's very cool of him. I've really liked the maxpedition monkey pouch but I wouldn't know where to mount it.

Sweet. Good on Bushman, cool of you to do that. I've had people help me out like that and it's really awesome. Enjoy.

After all of the awesome stuff I've seen Bushman do/give away I think Santa is an appropriate moniker. :D

Very cool! And another +1 to Bushman for making the WSS one of, if not the best place on the planet!
