Nick does good work. Looks excellent. That's one big handle you got there on your fire steel, lol.

I know i got it off the bay for REAL cheap, im talking 3 bucks with 2 for shipping cheap, and i didnt realize how monstrous it would be, but after using it it allows for a nice relaxed but firm grip and throws crazy sparks
 
Wow thats an awsome sheath I did'nt know his had the shock cord that pulled the snap out of the way,but I don't think that firesteel handle is nearly big enough;)

I didnt know that either and it never came up in our talks but ill tell ya what its one hell of a welcome surprise. i put it on and i dont know how i got along without it before, i feel like i was such a neanderthal carrying the 2 in kydex. I need to photoshop that handle out or im gonna hear about it all night arent i?

my apologies nick for letting my huge handle overshadow your great work. let me break out the chainsaw and whittle the sucker down a bit so they might be able to see your work....
 
Outstanding work for sure. He's getting to be one of our best sheathmakers.
 
Wow, what happened to that gigantic effing handle? And yes, Nick is getting damn good.
 
I'm with Dubzz and the Old Man. Nick's stuff is really getting pretty good. Pretty soon we won't be able to afford it and he will get so backed up he will have to make a permanent go at making sheaths. Nice one Nick. ;)
 
I'm glad that you got it and like it. Never mind the PM I just sent asking if you got it. ;)

That pouch will handle a small altoids tin. That's why it seems to have such an excess of leather on top.

I didn't even notice the giant handle on that firesteel until you guys said something. I was looking at the sheath the whole time :D

Nicks awesome work lit a fire under me and I did the latest mod on my 2 and 9. Bluing. Here is the result. I figured why waste a new thread and as an added bonus, the ginormous firesteel is also pictured :D.

Nice firesteel, and of course an awesome sheath by Nick. I'm experimenting with no handle at all on my firesteel at the moment, I drilled a hole for some paracord, works great so far. Drilling the ferrocium is a huge pain in Flexxx's sheath though.
