As some of ya'll here on the forum know I collect and display [at BCCI events] rare/odd/proto/1 of 1 112's...And today I added one to the heard Ebay# 330759983001 ...There is not many gold etch 112's but I just could NOT put a 1987 or 1988 Ducks Unlimited in my display case because they are NOT rare...One or the other is on the bay every week..THEN THIS CAME UP!! I held my breath till I won it.I think the handle is a BCCI club knife from 2010 and it's a 1987 USA blade.Oh' happy day! If one of you who has better computer skills could post a pic from the listing,Thanks! I feel really Blessed to add this on to my collection..:D

Wow Clint,

That is awesome and belongs in your collection! I hope to see it at one of the events some day.

I really had given up on the DU..I think the 1988 with the NS bolsters,FG's and green wood is a classy 112 it just did not fit with my theme...Rare and odd But this does!

Oh, show the handle please I just can not remember for sure if it's a club knife...It had to be [maybe??] a employee who made it or re-bladed it..

I look on Ebay for weeks at a time hoping to add one to my collection but most of the few that fit are way out of my limited budget or I get sniped at the last minute or something happens and I miss it.I'll then get discouraged and stop looking. The real joy I get when I do finally add one it does make up for all the ones that got away. When I started collecting back in 2008 it was a lot easier, and a lot of knives were cheaper too.I'm lucky that I picked a single theme and model right from the start. Thank You Sitflyer for posting the pics!.

My pleasure bucksway, and a fine addition that one is to your collection
I don't think the sheath fits though ;)

Your right,I'll pass it along to someone who needs it..I don't have a single 500.I'll have to look back in my old newsletters to see where the handle comes from.I just love the oddball Bucks! There was only 2 bids on that 112.I really thought I was going to miss it.Regular 1987 DU's go for $75.00 or so and the 1988 Canadian for $30.00 or so more.So to me this was a nice find.Even a blind squirrel will find a acorn if he looks long enough.

Strange 112.......but the sheath should fit.

The 500 sheath is a great 112 sheath.

They usually have the scalloped top that the 112 sheath lacks.
