I got that email, my ASHBM will be on its way soon. I have wanted a straight handle battle mistress since seeing one on a Ron Hood video on VHS tape I don't know how long ago. It's been that long and I'll finally have one.

What about you? What's your grail (Busse) and do you have it or are you still searching?

Grail is tough question lol, Busse Combat doesn't make anything I don't like ! Lol ! And I seem to always want more than one of each :eek::confused::D

Me I am searching for the Rams Horn HACK Bear Cub, looks like I may never find it :(
 
Ive got all the busses I want except for a sabergrind .22 ash1.
Not necessarily a rare one, just getting it done. Then there are those rare one time buys from ganzaas that pop up. Waiting for the anniversary steel heart II to come out one day.
 
I'm hoping the MOABOLO is everything I want in a compact chopper and more. Yes of course the MOAB is king -- but at 14 plus inches in blade length -- I can't see myself bringing it along camping unless the car is nearby. Now the MOABOLO may be pushing it also --- but at 11 inches I think I can manage. The HHFSH was my Grail -- but then I got one that I'm in love with. Then a Satin Fat Ash-1 with hand shaped black/tan g10 handle and blue liners was my Grail --- now that's on its way from the shop. So the MOABOLO now is the new "Grail" ;)
 
Test Team Killa Zilla with thinned grind to aid with chopping performance. Perfect grail would be a Killa Zilla 2 blade with Test Team handle😎😎😎���
 
for me i always wanted a jungle assault with a serrated top swedge and recurve... instead of going that route, i decided to go slightly longer and thicker by having the MOABOLO modified to be a serrated MOAJA... so when that comes in, I'll have my Busse grail!

as far as what I have now, the NMFBM with bruiser mags is my favorite.

That's how I bought my SHSH, SHBM, SHBA and MS back in the day!! LOL Only have the BM left and that was sold and reacquired once upon a time by some of the old time Hogs. Enjoy your find. I've got all mine now;)

It's a shame Ron Hood passed away.He was a inspiration.His wife now carries on his legacy.I have his WoodsMaster series on computer.Over 16 hours of Survival techniques.Anyone want a copy contact me and send me a usb stick at least 8 GIG. and I'll copy it and send it back to you.

I agree with a bunch of the blades above. But. I'd have to go full custom. Boss Jack CG with bayonet attachment for my PTR91GI RIFLE.

F'in sweet.

Otherwise, it would be a 7 or so inch blade... 3/16" thiiick.... More blade heavy... Ah. Nothing like THAT out there...................
 
Something ASHy ... ;) .22 think, CG black with hand shapped green canvas... :)

There are of course MOABs etc to be had, but that is desire.....not WANT....no...NEED.... ;)
