Ta-daaa! My hiking buddy has arrived. I opened up andy's calling-card brown, paper wrap....put it in my hand....and literally said, "Wow." of course, i then had to run it out in the back yard and snap a couple of quick shots. these are just phone-camera shots, so they don't really do the knife justice. but, i'll tell ya what....me and my buddy have good times ahead. thanks for the quality knife andy.

Sweet HB Congrats, when i looked at Andys Easter Batch for sale thats the one i picked out too. The one with the convex edge.
Then i scrolled down and dam! You beat me to it. Thats a perrty knife love her well.

sorry about that d762nato (or am i?). thanks for the kind words. i will try to use 'er with honor and pride.

Very nice indeed...you have a real beautiful cutter there! It looks like a very handy knife and I have been eyeing them as well.

Looks fantastic. That's the one that caught my eye from the Easter batch as well. Congratulations.

That is an amazing Hiking Buddy! Then again they ALL are! :D Congrats on a beautiful blade.

Wait forrr it....SCHMITTIEEEE!

but seriously ... thanks all. i'm pretty psyched.

Very nice!! I absolutely love my Hiking Buddy. Big enough to use comfortably while being very compact for a fixed blade. The handle comfort on Andy's knives is simply unmatched.

Damn it, damn it, damn it...all these pics of saber ground 5/32 Hiking Buddies are killing me!

Sweet score man, I love that handle combo. That has me re-thinking if I want shade tree burlap on mine when I get it or something else. I'm sure when the time comes something will speak to me like the other one did. I just didn't get at first that the other one was meant for the wife. Man she really loves that knife and carries it everywhere she goes.

thanks mistwalker. and agreed...i love the handle. i had no idea the maroon micarta was so dang pretty (and functional). though, i would like to see the burlap handled ones up close and personal too.

Your pics really do the knife justice. Its good to see the knife getting used!!!
