Just got my Gold membership turned and wanted to take it for a test drive and try attaching a pic or two.
Here's one that I just sent to brother Joe.

WOW !!!!!!!
That is one totally awesome Package.I love the clip,I was thinking of making a Damascus boot clip[ the other day but wasn't sure how it would look,Now I Know and so I probably will try one someday.
Again GREAT LOOKING Knife.

Thanks Robert, thanks Eric..I really wanted to keep this one for myself. (I still don't have a knife):(
Next time I'll make two.
Here's another shot of it from the front.
It sports Mike Norris Gator SS damascus blade and bolsters and walrus jawbone. I had the complete lower jawbone. A local character had it in his garage and gave it to me. The stuff is near fossilized and machines like steel. I've never seen any anywhere else. I've seen lots of Oosic, but never a complete lower jawbone. Chilly!

You need to call that one Lex Luger cause it darn sure is the Total Package! I think thats about the nicest overall folder I've ever seen. You left nothing plain and I am a flat out nut case for that nuggeting on the spacer. Is that spacer anodized ti or real gold? Ummm, you wouldn't be planning on doing a tutorial on how that nuggeting is done, would you??? I would be thrilled to be able to do that on my knives!
Outstanding knife !!!!

Michael, it anodized ti. It's real easy to do.
I use a Dremel and an 1/8' ballnose carbide burr
and just get jiggy with it.
I think Darrel Ralph did it on some pieces.
I saw a pic of one with and overlay with a window cut out and behind it it looked like he did a "nugget" effect. That's what I think I saw.
Here's a pic of one of two all damascus integrals I'm working on today with some jiggy work. I messed up a inlay of mastodon ivory, (got it hot and it warped badly). I did'nt have any more so I made a wood inlay, but it didn't look right then i just hauled off and made a ti inlay and put the nugget factor on it, anodized it and it worked for me. So far the people that have seen it really like it so I'm going to go with it.
These 2 have 3" blades and 7-1/8" OAL and only
5/16" thin!! I am going to round them over to put some curve in em. The damascus is Jerry Rados' ladder pattern in W-2 and 203E. Purty stuff!!

Okay, I got some more coffee in me and here's the ding dong photo I was trying to speak off in the previous posts.

And of course the reverse side. Double inlays with
a step down integral lock.

Dson, where do you get those pivots?? Make em yourself?? I like that big button head look. Is it ti also??
