Have you seen the new wendy's commercial for the dollar menu, where people are valuing things in terms of burgers and frostys?


Do you do this with knives? I paid a bill earlier this month, and thought, man, 2 sebenzas? or the grocery store-there went my queen stockman, or whatever.. I know I'm not the only one who does this, right?

Only every time I pay a bill or purchase a non-knife or gear related item! The gas bill last month was a Kershaw Spec Bump, and every time we fill the tank on the truck it's a Spyderco Centofante IV. We need to get the timing belt changed, and that is a Wood Inlay Sebenza!

That sounds way too familiar For me, it's not so much the necessities stuff, but where the "hobby money" goes. I have multiple hobbies and only so much money (allowance )each month. I figure my new pool cue ($600 CDN) cost me a few folders Not to mention the $300 case I got for it...... But then I sold my old cue and recovered some too This month, though, the folders came first - I ordered a Spydie Delica 4 and Centofante 4 - also have another Delica 4 and Endura 4 on order as well. I do a bit of leatherwork as well, so if I need to buy leather, tools, etc, then I have to hold back on the folders. Up here, stuff is a bit more expensive.....doesn't help.
