some times the best weekends are when nothing is planed. Yesterday I finished putting G10 scales on my Gossman PSK then made a Kydex sheath
for it. Rode the Harley down to the local hardware store and saw a bunch of bikes at the American Legion so I stopped. Saw a bunch of old biker buddies I haven't seen for a while.
Today I put a couple shelves together for the shed but started the day off by removing the bark from a bunch of red oak to use for dyeing some canvas I plan on making into a bag and back pack. I am making a video of the whole process. I dyed the canvas and it looks pretty good. Carved a bit on my walking staff.
Then rode the bicycle towards the everglades, followed a canal out about 2 or 3 miles west and cast a lure to the bass for a while, no bites but who cares, certainly not I. Oh, and I ground up a bunch off wheat berry and feed my sourdough starter, mixed it all together and have two loaves of bread rising. They may need to rise for a few hours before I can throw them in the oven but I'll have some good hearty bread for lunches this week.
Aahhh, life is good.
