Somehow I talked myself into spending the money, and now I have this Cherokee Rose and a Seax.....not exactly sure what to do next.....

No time to waste -- one must act quickly.

First: send the seax to me. ;)

Second: admire them. Put them to work. Now that my cat has broken the tip off my Rose I no longer have to worry about it; I'll be doing some wood splitting and maybe some limbing with mine tomorrow before grinding a new tip on. One of the joys of being an HI customer who burns wood for heat is that there's always more wood to be split.

Oh I plan on buying a few more HI items! In fact I have a 12 inch Dai Churra Ang Khola on the way, as well as a wood handled Chainpuri.

No, actually I was thinking of some sort of blessing or ceremony, though I think I'll pass on the New Unified Himalayan Brassos Ritual. Something more sedate, like a little whiskey, a little blood, a little flesh, and a little fire.....maybe even a small prayer to my guardian Owl....
