Went to a knife shop today. I wanted to handle a few models especally the Chinook II. Just can't seem to get a hold of this knife as I have been to lots of places and I just miss it everytime. Disappointed again, I start to leave when I spy this in a case:

I love it. Its the fixed blade that is telling me to own it. Its perfect and everything I want. Got to say goodbye to the chinook and start the hunt for the bark river.
 
So, did you buy it or not?

I have two Bark River knives and both are beautiful. For my hypothetical third, I'd buy one of the Mountaineers in Ambroynia Burl, available from AG Russell.
