....the Busse and Swamp Rat forums that is!

Whilst watching over my shoulder earlier today, she begins to tell me out of the blue, the differences between 'INFI' and 'SR-101' steel properties. She then proceeded to tell me that that was the reason for the difference in prices between Busse and SRK's.

Well, slap my botty and call me nancy! I spat coffee over the computer, fell backward off my chair and hit my head on the bookshelf behind. All the while, choking to death on coffee that had found it's way through every orriface in my head including my ears.

After I had collected myself, and she stopped laughing, I asked how in the hell she knew that and I got quite a simple answer.

"I had a surf this morning while you were out and read a couple of posts on both forums".

I tell ya, you had best check up on your partners, cos they could be doing the same to you friends.

Could this be the start of a 'Pink Club' invasion down under? I bloody hope so! It would make purchasing so much easier (for me!;) )

I check the history section on my computer's browser. I once saw that my wife was in the TOPs knife forums. Suspended her computer privileges for a week !

By the way Gundy, the last man who called me Nancy now has to eat soup for the rest of his life!

Welcome Mrs. gundy! :)

Come on and register so you can chat with some of us gals. We have to maintain a forum presence so we can keep our guys in line. ;)

Welcome Mrs. Gundy! Sign up and log in, we need more women in the Pink Club! Mr. Skunk was checking out the bids on a Busse knife listed on ebay and quickly realized that I had placed a couple of bids! I just couldn't resist as the knife was/ is beautiful. Besides, when you buy a knife your husband can't complain.
:) :D Hey, what happened to the Roo?

Hey Guy,

I thought I might pass on to you an idea that I wish I'd thought of when my son was born. Quite a while ago somebody posted on the forums (I looked but can't find the thread) asking for suggestions on an heirloom knife. His idea was that his son was to be born soon and he was going to buy a special heirloom knife that he would use to cut the umbilical cord with at the delivery and then when his son turned 18 he would present the knife to his son as a symbol of his passage into manhood and independance.

I don't know what others make of that but I think that is awesome and wish I'd been able to do it. Just thought I'd pass on the idea.

Maybe since you don't seem to be able to bring yourself to christen that Mr.Mojo, maybe that might fit the bill. Not every knife collector has a knife that can truly be called priceless. But one that cut your child's umbilical cord bringing them into the world I think would be.

That is a incredible idea. I'll have to do that if I get around to having kids. To much of a kid myself to plan that right now. But I do have my kids first Handgun: My grandfather's Single Action Army Colt 45. My fathers first, my first, and one day my son's first.

utah, that's a great idea :D are there any women out there who would like to have my baby? i will bring a busse and you can keep it and the kid till they turn 18 :D :D i will promise to keep all this a secret if you do the same :)

ouch :( ouch whack  sneeky wife looking :o ouch!

Hiya.

Hey Utah! Excellent Idea, but the incoming bubs is , well, pink!
Do you think I should get a BM for the job? Yeah, a BM...:D ...a BM will suit a daughter.

I think Leanne is going to register tonight. Watch her though! She's a sneaky one! ;)

gundy if its pink you will have to get a BMW! bummer for you! nice roo you got there, i like it!

A Sheila?

Sounds like you're gonna need Mrs.Stinky's Pink Apple :p

Or maybe that nice Damascus commander I saw you post over on USN. She can use it to fend off all those 18yr old hormone, infested boys that will be chasing her  by then

We have a well known actor/customer who bought two Kenseis (Busse Short Swords) in order to keep the boys at bay. He has a few daughters and said that he simply has to polish the blades when the boyfriends come over and his girls ALWAYS get home on time. . . . usually early!!!! ;)

I've got a 10yr old daughter, I'd better contact Contender and get my order in now for one of those.

And Jerry, this would be a product where I think coming out with Variants would be a BAD idea
