I am watching one of those TV shopping networks, and they have a special right now going on.... The guy selling the knives just said that for $299.95 you can get over $1600.00 worth of knives!!!! I am going to max out my credit card right now and get 20 sets... Whoa....... He just said this is the chance of a lifetime! He just said you cannot afford to ignore this deal on these custom knives... oh my friggin god, there is not only a Survival knife in this custom set, but an original 6" Bowie and a claymore, ooooh, he just said this deal comes packed with a Cobra Katana, too.....

I've got to go... I'm going to apply for some more of those credit cards with 30 second approvals so I can get in on this deal.

OH , No...!!! He just said that they only have about 30 sets of these fine knives left... This is our last chance to own such a fine set of knives...

for the love of god, people.... log off of your computer and join me, He says this is our last chance... come on! apparently these knives are made of "genuine stainless steel".... WOW! Some of them are Tactical Folders, too. Oooh, some of them are priced below the retail value of normal aircraft aluminum knives ( ) This one has an EMT blade... (it retails for over 50 dollars... you've got to move quick)

Ok... I need to turn the channel... these bastards are killing me. They just had the nerve to say that their "same exact knives" were those used at "ground zero".

I sure hope that any human being who has a brain does not judge cutlery enthusiasts (us) by these #$%&ing morons...

LOL

It's rare that I'm able to stay up into the wee hours to watch blade pro's on TV ! But. . .every now and then. . .I'll stay up watch them just to get a good chuckle in.

They get pretty excited as they attempt to hawk their wares ! :D

Definitely TARDS !

Thewre used to be a guy on at 3 in the morning who sold real collectables at reasonable prices, mostly Case commemoratives, and the sort but they were much better than the "It'll only cost ya less than $1 a knife" guy, what ever happened to him?

I believe that fella was on the ACN. He often joked about the '100 knives for $100' guys. It appears they've either dropped his show or moved it to another time period. It was on Friday at 10pm ET here until a few weeks ago.

Are yall saying these aren't GENUINE deals? I just bought 48 bowies for $100.00 and I even have a Certificate of Authenticity for the Pakka Wood Collectors Bowie.

I love these shows, and I usually laugh and cuss all the way through them. :p

It was VERY entertaining. One guy had this loud deep southrm drawl and worked himself up into a frenzy. Pretty funny.

What a coincidence. I've seen the same thing.

Hey speaking of cheap knives does anyone still own the
original Ghinsu knives? I actually heard they were
kinda good. ;)

I still have one of those original Ginsu knives. I picked it up probably some 20 years ago I would guess, at a home show. It still cuts really well. It works when you need to cut something with a SE blade. If I don't feel like getting the electic knife out to cut up turkey breast, the old Ginsu gets some hand time.

I actually find myself using these two really cheap knives in my kitchen that are kind of like a spatula with an edge. One is a little smaller than the other. While the steel is pretty crappy, I keep the Spyderco sharpmaker, which I also got long, long ago at a home show, on the counter and run these knives on it often. What I really like about them is their length and the fact that they are thin and cut things like onions really well.

Sometimes we do use less impressive bladeware. Saw a few Japanese style kitchen blades this weekend when I picked up a Spyderco Military. They ranged from $50 to $90 dollars each. Really like to give one a try.
