Wow, oh wow! I had a chance to get out to the woods this weekend and wanted to spend a little time with my Terrasaur. I don't have a lot of photos but I will just say that it was crazy sharp, fit my hand like a glove and it loved cutting things! Who else?

I am thinking that I will put this model on my "Watch List" for future Fiddleback Fridays!

Hey Dave. Great pics. Glad you had a great weekend. The terrasaur is my favorite Fiddleback in terms of looks. I know others will disagree, but there is just something about the 'saur that just looks sexy to me. However, I've owned two, and both didn't feel right in my hand for some reason. I desperately want to find one that does!

Anyway, I'm glad you like yours. I'm jealous!

This is my current favorite model. (Scandi if course) glad to see its gettin some love out there!

The Terrasaur is a great outdoor blade. If that is 1/8" stock, that grind makes for a hell of a slicer.

It is 1/8" and the air molecules scream out in pain when I brandish it about

Great looking Terrasaur Blaid! Is that African Blackwood? Looks like the same handle config as my Woodsman. A friend of mine has one of the first Terrasaurs Andy did with a scandi grind. If it weren't for being a scandi I would have traded him out of it by now :)

I have what appears to be an unused terrasaur in full tang 5/32". It might be my favorite handle shape. It feels very nice in your hand. It has more weight to it than any of my other fiddlebacks. It seems like one of those knives you could put in your pack and feel good about only having one knife. I would be very interested in owning one in sft tang. I could see how this could be someone favorite fiddleback shape easy. I might put this back into the market and see if I can pick one up in sft or tapered. If anyone is interested in trying out a full tang terrasaur, I would consider letting this go for $240 with sheath or I might keep as the one.

Thanks Mist! Yes, African Blackwood with lime green pinstripe. I love it!

I owned that baby before. When I owned it, every time I held it, I'd say to myself "If if the $hi_ came down and I had two seconds to grab one fiddleback, I'd grab this one". Very nice weight to it, not super light where you can't tell if it's in your sheath or not, but not too heavy either. I wish I had extra funds or I'd have you ship both the blued kephart and that Terrassaur back to me.

G10 and G11 (higher glass content) is a bit heavier than micartas and wood so that might add to the weight. The jadeish color is usually G10 or G11

I picked that one up off the forum around the same time I was watching the new hobbit movie. It looked like something straight out of the movie. I couldn't resist. It really is a cool knife.
