Perusing ye olde 'bay and came across this.

I did cringe a bit, but my stronger reaction was utterly bemused. If nothing else, it's an interesting take on the original design. If this happens to be yours, I apologize as my intention is more making a lighthearted, silly post.

Behold:

I've seen this on theBay. The guy said that he bought it then was deployed carried it stock then, when he got back, ground it down to this. If memory serves...

Yes, you need to buy this knife as it has been to WAR, so has the sheath..and among other things it was used to open Blackhawk helicopters... !!!!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but the owner of that knife and I don't see the same thing. I assume he's happy with it or perhaps he thinks he got a bit carried away. Not my cup of tea.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the tip doesn't look like it would penetrate anything more than 0.5", and the serrations don't look like they would cut paper.

I suppose it is only Jerry and Garth who can imbibe more than the average bear and crank out glory. I just hope the heat treatment was thought about during this raping...

I would use it as an excuse to send it in to Busse with a note that says, found in the gutter, do something crazy.... It may come back as the nuclear seahorse.... In a prefect world

Here is my take on such a project.

I added my skill from a masters degree on mspaint together with my 0 experience of owning a Busse to create it.
