My AK Bowie and Gelbu Specials just arrived.
I am calling off my Bowie knife search, this beautiful monster would have made jim Bowie more than happy.
The Gelbu is just what I had in mind. It is a weapon that can serve as a tool.
The same goes for that bowie.

Thank you HI and thank you everybody who helped me figure out what I wanted.

I am proud to own these two knives and I dont plan on selling them anytime soon.

I have a pink hello kitty hood thank you.
hey, is there a video out there of how to use the chakma correctly ?

Danny?

I have developed...over many years...a proven technique of doing it wrong. Then, I go do it wrong again. Eventually, I either break the thing or...I figure out how to do it correctly.

If I recall correctly (no guarantees here), most chakmas are less than ideal, and the professionals use steel, ceramic, diamond, paper on a mouse's pad, strops...etc.

A search couldn't hurt.

Congratulations on your new loves.:)

Someone asked once if he should use the flat or edge of the Chakma. I use both.

Some chakma's are better than others. The rap against them is they are sometimes not as hard as they should be.

The rap against the Kardas is they are not as thin as they should be.

The rap against munk is that he talks too much. The rap against George Bush is that he is not as smart as a President should be.

I'm not sure what any of this means. If it works; use it.

Mr. Bush has done a better job than the last five "brilliant" predecessors to his position. People quickly find a chakma, or make one, to their liking.
