Tim Galyean, I just visited your website and saw your custom knives. All i can say is WOW! those are beautiful Tim!

you need to do us all a favor though. talk Kershaw into making the Outbreak and Punk into production! please please please please please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the Outbreak too ! Thats just sexy ! I could live with the Punk though !

The blade style on the Outbreak would make one serious fixed blade.

So, when does production begin? Sandvick and G10? Low price point like the JYDII ?

Thanks guys :) I have fun with it when I get a chance to get out in my shop.
With the full time job here at Kershaw, it is hard to find time for customs.

The Outbreak was my first custom folder and I only made two of them.
It lacked a little bit on the mechanics side for a flipper so I moved on.

The Punk is one of my favorites, it has a totally different and uniuqe feel in the hand. I have only made two or three of these and I may revisit the design in the future.
 
I love the ergos of the Punk scales. There both outstanding looking knives. Thanks for posting the pics.

your welcome Tim. maybe you could bring the Outbreak to work one day and talk about it being a new production folder for Kershaw?

Walkin - i think VG-10 and G-10 would be better. price point along the lines of the Lahar :D

Jeremy - what do you mean that this is contributing? this is contributing AND begging :D
 
Tim should try to get Kershaw to make the Mega Junkyard Dog, I doubt that you could make it look small offsetlover.

btw kd, i can make full size Ka-Bar's look small. it would have to be bigger than that!

Ka-Bar's are what 6" blade? anyway, i would definatly get it. couldn't carry it (in Ohio, nothing folding over 4" :rolleyes:). however if they were to do the outbreak, a mega JYD would have to wait. the outbreak is to nice!

i mean, why not give Tim's designs more lovin? they have a ton of Ken Onion's designs (don't get me wrong. KO is one of my absolute favorite makers), why not add to Tim's "collection"?

I do like the look of the punk's handle too...... I want to learn how to make custom handles with somewhat similar flow. Wow on both though!
