Yep! Still EDC'ing it. Ecstatic! Tra la la la....
But.....it cuts (pun) down on the fun. No regular sharpening. Waaah!

Put the Sharpmaker combo (30 back, 40 edge) on it and it just keeps going.

And....after opening mail and regular plant cuttings and stuff....TODAY...got a BOX in the mail that had NO "opening" place. Searched all over...nope.

Sealed like a vault.

So......U2......ta-daaaa!

Carved that box to pieces. Finally got it open. Blade MUST be a bit off after that.

Nope.

So, fold it up, stick it back in pocket, look for some way to ease the boredom.

ah, me.

:D :) :D

LOL :D I must admit I have been 'taken' by this knife for a while. How about some good pics? All I have seen are little ones on the net.

Now WHO would have a picture of one of these?

Hmmmmm?

Oh gosh........look what I found.

Great picture. I like that little red knife. I just got the blue version with a Star of David.

What's the big, ugly, black handled chopper behind it?

Esav.....You have maybe heard of a.......bris????

You want I should have to tell you WHY you don't want no DULL knife?

You're breaking your mother's heart, you know.

:D

Lavan,

O.K., now I'm all curious about this knife you love so well. Perhaps you could post some sort of review on the U2, at least a mini-review? What is it that has you so smitten?

Hmmm...if you go to the Knife Forums, the Outdoor Forum, there's a listing of reviews 'stuck' at the beginning and the U2 review is listed there. I've been having trouble getting on at KF today, so maybe they're just down.
Cheers,
Steve

i found out that the best way to open parcels is to soak them regulary with fresh urine. This way the cardboard gets slushy and then u can tear it away with your teeth without scratching the surface on your teeth. It's also very handy to open boxes without the danger of maring the finish of your favorite blade.

Good idea, but I prefer chicken soup. The fat content also helps lubricate the surface of the cardboard. :D

It's really a shame, the U2 being a Scandinavian knife, that they can't sell them practically next door in Russia, which otherwise would be big market for a handy little item like that. But the Russians shot down the U2 years ago.
