....of Busse disappointment....!!! At the Post Office on the way home from work today and had the little note in the box to say there was a couple of parcels... one being an "International EMS" which would be right (or close to it for a big box of Busse that I am expecting sometime soon. In I rush and they bring out a couple of other packages (one mine and a pleasant surprise) ... I look and think...yeah but where is the International one...where is my knife...where where where ..... so I ask and she said.. "oh yeah sorry I will go grab it" ... gone for a couple of minutes and comes and gets the guy.... he checks the card and comes back and explains that someone ticked the wrong box and the two I have are it.... OH THE PAIN.....!!!!!! It was like Christmas being snatched out from under me at 11.55pm on the 24th...!!!!!!! Hopefully by the end of the week... :)
 
I feel your pain!

Some years ago, I arrived home to find a courier's card marked Urgent International. I was awaiting my Heavy Heart, and nothing else.

So, I rearranged my whole day to make sure that I could get to the courier's delivery centre to pick up the knife. I waited at the counter, excitement growing, as the guy brought out a three-foot long box...

'That's a bit excessive,' I thought. The HH isn't that big!

It turned out that my wife had ordered some rose plants, in my name on my CC. :eek: :grumpy:

Still, I got the knife two days later and the roses are still flowering now, even in the snow.

I'm sure yours will be with you soon, it just gives you longer to appreciate looking forward to it... ;)
 
Yeah... there is an ASH and the NMFBM on the way so I am sure I will have some joy this week... : :D
