OK...so UPS arrived! Below are three special things all born on the same date!
I had been struggling on what to buy as a birth gift for my grandson.

Thanks to Corytr for the terrific idea of calling CRK the day my grandson was born and seeing if they could tell me what they produced that day and where it was going...so I could try and buy one.
Special thanks to Matt at CRK who was so helpful when I called and sold me two beautiful knives for the occasion.
Kudos to my brother-in-law, Ken44, who had a great idea of carrying one so that someday Phillip could have a knife his grandfather both carried and bought to commemorate his birth. Not only a cool idea but I get to use a knife I wanted, small 21 w/insingo blade!
The other (large 21) I'm giving to his father (birth gift for Phillip) to put in his safe for when Phillip turns 21, 25, or whatever age his dad thinks he will both appreciate and keep up with the special knife.
I couldn't be happier with the way things turned out!

Very glad that everything worked out so well !
I can't imagine just how much he will love those one day. A knife, and a CRK no less, that was made on your birthdate would be a great thing to have. But getting them from your Grandfather knowing the thought that was put into them will make them truly special, and something that will surely have a lot of meaning to him.
