...back when Michael Jackson was black, MTV played music, Starsky and Hutch was only an old TV show, Deadwood was still making episodes, our nation's enemies had identifiable uniforms, and most of all --- new Rucks, AK47s, NICKs, and other blades-o-Busse-lore could be purchased new at crazy cheap prices.

and as much as I love my ASH1, I hardly see how SSs, GWs, Cluti's and so on are a substitute for the Busse blades of the past (even near past) few years. right?

I think I'm going to drink now, it helps ease the pain. Cheers, says Pappy Van Winkle and I, cheers to to bringing back things like the NICK, RUCK, AK, SK/SKV, and MO-Busses galore.
 
oddly, the busses that were around when i first started were models like the meaner, leaner, ak, sfno, etc.

and i wanted the older sh models, badgers, etc.

in a couple years, all the newbies will want your gw's, culties, and ash's.

No Rucks... They came out after MJ was already white and... accused ;):barf: of molesting by then. Battlestar Galactica was already a re-make, Lost was found... America was already mired in 'quicksand' in Irag & Afghanistan... LOL ...And starky & Hutch was a movie! :eek:
 
I've had a few drinks, so go ahead - taunt me with the screenshots of the blades once available just that easily... do it... I'm not scared...
 
I came in right before the entire fusion line started (don't let this account fool you, it is a replacement account for a dead one). I recall a.... 2 year wait? something like that? for the battle mistress. or was it 3...

after having probably 30 models pass through my hands, I'm still waiting for stuff thats yet to come.

I will say that the cghogfsh is the only perfect knife I've ever handled. the 5/16" version, standard scales. the jump from heavy heart to hogfsh might seem small, but it was like apples to oranges in the hand.

Yup, life was good.

Many, many, shows Gun and or Knife in the Western 14 states.

Ok Mostly California, but I also make it to shows in Oregon, Washington, AZ, TX, Miss, LA,NV.

That was Then, this is now, Deal with it.

Way easier to get knives now, all you need is $$

Back then you paid for a knife at time order was placed then waited for sometime a year or more before you got your knife.

And maybe 10 Busse knives a Month passed through the Blade Forums for sale forum.

Now on a good day you can buy $20,000.00 in Busse knives on the For Sale forum.

Not to mention the Busse Company Store, you People got it easy now adays.

Back in HIS day he had to walk to school....through the snow....barefoot....20 miles...and it was uphill both ways too. I think you might have had to fight dinosaurs too...but that could have just been when he was a kid.

On that note...I admit that I had to wait for 10 months after ordering to get my class knife....long enough that we ended up driving 500 miles to go to the Y2k survival show so we could handle a Busse.
 
That was just a ten month, plus fifteen days and a three hundred mile drive to get your "Class Knife"

It just seemed longer because you were Young, I also noticed that you, after picking up that Badger Attack(Hole type Fastener Prototype for all Busse Hole type fasteners)
That You did not put it down to look at any other knives, nooooo, you kept it in your hot little fist and bought it.

I also remember you picking through all the shipments for that "Perfect knife"

Then Jerry made you your College carry knife and finally you were happy

And it was just three miles to school(Laguna Beach California) and while it Was uphill both ways, there was no snow, just tons of pretty Girls to wade though to get to school.

Some one had to do it.
