Earlier today I was just thinking about how I hadn't seen very many 25's for sale in the classifieds, since I have been looking for one. Then one popped up and I jumped on it. Super excited about this one. It should compliment my Insingo quite well.

Congratulations! When I lost my regular sebenza I thought the world had ended and I'd be forever lost in a sea of dissapointing replacements. Until i happened upon the sebenza25... never looked back since.

Great choice on the 25 man!! It is the best sebenza I think there is. The pivot, the blade, the handles, all around amazing knife. You're going to love it!! Just promise to put that bad boy to use

It will get used. Not abused but well used. The anticipation is killing me.

You really will like it i think. I'm someone who didn't like it when i first heard of it, based of the looks of it it didn't seem as elegant as the 21, i completely dismissed it as a knife i wouldn't be interested in. Eventually i got tired of buying different variations of the 21, and i thought i'll try something totally different in the chris reeve line up, so i conceded to trying the 25, especially since i knew if i didn't like it i could easily sell it since it's the newest knife from CRK.

Whoa is all i said when i got it, i had a big grin on my face lol. It was really cool in person, like it was beefier and really comfortable in the hand. I like the broader blade. It feels so solid when it locks up, more than Umnumzaan too for example. The jimping is fantastic. It carries awesome. The new flat grind is just spectacular, cuts really good. The screws seem like much better quality then any other sebenza i've had. What i don't like though is that the stop pin needs to be in a certain spot to put it back together otherwise the knife will not function properly, it's just a little more complicated in that respect.

Everything considered though it is a very good knife, it may actually be my favorite CRK, i'm still debating that. Though i'm siding with yes it is lol.

I got lucky two weeks ago, finding a 25 after a pretty good search of Chris Reeve dealers all morning. I jumped on it immediately as well, and am glad I did. It's a really well-designed knife, very stout. You will like it!

I can't wait to get a left-handed version with micarta inlays in the future...hopefully they'll make them.

You know what's funny is that it's easier to open the knife for me with my left hand lol, at least if i'm only pushing on one thumb lug i mean. When i open with my right hand i pinch both studs with my thumb and index finger to get the blade out then use my thumb after that to guide it out and open. Closing one handed with left hand is also very easy. Closing one handed left hand on a 21 sometimes could be sloppy for me so i never liked doing that, especially because i could risk causing shearing to the lock bar edge...I've seen some people on youtube close their framelocks carelessly, there actually is a proper technique to closing them, that's why i don't like to hand my knives to non knife people, I am ranting off topic now lol. The sebenza 25 is fanstastic though, here is a picture to make the wait easier OP.

I already have 3 21's (a large classic, large Insingo w/micarta inlays, and large Damascus w/ micarta inlays) and a large regular. I am very curious to compare the 25 to these. Especially to the Insingo (my current favorite).

It has arrived........ and it is awesome!
Super smooth and locks up tight. All my other Sebenza's are smooth as well but the ceramic ball in the lock face on the 25 makes it a differently kind of smooth. It is a great addition to the family.

Anyway I am sure all this has been said before so I will keep it at that. Just excited to finally be able to get my hands on one.

Boy these Chris Reeve knives are addicting. After the 25 I purchased a large left-handed Micarta 21 regular blade and also a right-handed large Insingo Micarta. Three knives in two weeks! They are awesome, however. I really love the Insingo blade, it just seems so "practical" in blade shape design.

I really like my large Insingo micarta to. It is an excellent slicer. My new 25 has effectively kicked it out of my pocket though (for now). I cant believe how sturdy the 25 feels. It is very comfortable in my hand. It sharpened up very well also.

The Sebbie 25 has the best lockup of any folder I own. A real tank and very comfortable to use.
