OK - I'm sorry. I know I haven't posted from Atlanta. But I'll be honest, this has been the bestest, most knifiest weekend I've ever had. I'm back in the room for the first extended period since 10 this morning, when I went to hear Steve Schwarzer present on "What is a Handmade Knife". The first "guest speaker" was Chris Reeve, followed by Warren Osborne, followed by Don Fogg - I don't need to tell you, this was one kick-butt seminar (well, if I do, you REALLY needed to be there).

Just got back from a particularly special dinner, with Mike Turber to my left, and a gaggle of Darrel Ralph's entourage on my right. Dear sweet god, what a dessert! If only I'd known, I'd have been buying "outlaw steel" a lot longer!

Anyway, here's a couple pics of some acquisitions...

'Cause it's late, and I'm tired, these two have a mint on the pillow...

You guys try saying no to Jerry Hossom, Don Rearic, Waxes Eloquent and a monster double edged fighter!

Best to everyone I ran into in Atlanta! Hope everyone else makes it next year!

PS - Technical difficulties prevent me from posting a photo of my "special" purchase. When PointSeven gets me the pic (that should be a hint in itself that this one is, ahem, out of the ordinary), you'll see it here first!

Brian, don't forget to prop a chair under your door knob tonight!

Beautiful knives there, of course if someone was foolish enough to wander in that Hossum should ward him off easily enough!

Wish I were there, it sounds like a blast!

That Duelist is one sweet looking piece of steel. Was just added to my list as amatter of fact it went right to the top of my list.

Brian,

Congratulations! I had a chance to put your Duelist's brother through its paces, and I can assure you that it performs every bit as good as it looks. Its the fastest, best cutting bowie that I've ever tested, bar none. As soon as I get out from under work, I'll post my results for you guys.

Enjoy!!!
