well, hello out there!
i love this site! when you log onto this badboy, school is in!
first off, i gotta say that i'm still squirrely about broadcasting credit card info over the web. that said, i've been looking all over central ohio for a retail outlet that carries bkt. as it turned out, i shoulda first searched for a retail outlet in central ohio that has HEARD of bkt. i stumbled upon the fruits of mr. becker's labor on the internet, and after that, i knew that despite the aforementioned credit card/internet reservations, a bkt would be mine.
mind you, i work for an outfitter in this neckathewoods, and we can't even order any through our buyers! what the hell?!!!!!!
then finally, two true knifestuds, john and anthony, came to the rescue with a "bkt? hell, yeah! brickwall strong! great stuff! yeah, we can get it."
well folks, i gotta tell ya, i am now the ever-so-proud owner of both a bk9 and a bk10! it's my pleasure to report that it's a unique feeling to know that it's not humanly possible to have 2 better knives than what you now own. some folks may feel otherwise, but not me, jack! those two creations satisfied what was turning out apparently to be a totally unrealistic set of requirements on my part: a hell-for strong, modernized bowie config at a price that wouldn't facilitate its buyer to have to take up residence in it once he bought it.
on top of that, i am continually impressed with the knowledge of the members of this forum, so my pride of ownership and relief from worry from having bought something sight unseen was amplified immensely by the positive reviews from such knife-savvy folks.
in short, you made my day!
ok. enough gushing. if you don't have a bkt, get one, you won't be sorry. if you already have one, i applaud your intelligence and good taste. get another one. there's a patrol machete on my mind as we speak.
also, thank you to all you guys for continuing to educate me.
catfishingly yours,
rugerhead
