well the show was a wonderful show...
easy going and not like Atlanta at all!!
here every one was lay-ed way back and had a kind of members only flea market appeal...
the BCCI group was across the back of the hall and had the best view of all goings on... and was visable to all ...
i was really surprised at the number of exhibitors that came to the BCCI tables with questions and/or wanting to sell to us... many had hard used knives to sell some few had real collectibles ... one poor soul asked about a knife he got from a fellow trader ..a auto conversion buck that was not a buck nor was it a Cumberland conversion!!!
there were the ones selling that wanted to retire on what they sold but also some real deals to be had ...
every one on coming in had to make quick rounds of the tables looking for "the deal" !!!
including me ! (after i got my display set up!)
i found out that if you seen some thing you thought twice on don't walk away to think on it ... as many times someone watching you then goes and buys it after you leave!!!
every one was very friendly and most were willing to dicker on prices !
i was also caught off guard on that many come to my table and wanted to buy this one or that one !!!
some one even asked if i was not selling why was i there?!?!
again some times on walking around i was caught off guard at the rare
"semi-expert" trader and what they had to say about the buck knife they had for sale and why i needed it in my collection and what a good deal it was...
most times i jest said i had it already and did not need it...
but those were amusing moments !
i will tell you the last directions you need to find this place is past the tuck scales 4 corn fields -turn right - then right again on the dead end road to the end at the corn field - then turn left and find a parking place...
as i was late i got the very last room unsold room available with no show discount available and no late check out either...the honeymoon room!!
nice but a tad over done for my casual style...
there was a dinner friday night and sat nite but i was only able to stay tell 5 on sat as had to meet my daughter in Pittsburg that nite.. also there were no rooms avabile at the motel still!!!
of course if i dont tell on my self some one else will
i took the slow senic rougth... seen places i did not want to see and got on roads i did not want to be on... i left friday morn at 5 am and got there at 4 pm... on the trip home it took 4 hrs to Pitts, then 3 home!!!
but it was still a great trip and i enjoyed showing the Buck / BCCI colors!!
oh and there was a suprise sent from Post Falls for each one that showed up with knives to show!!!

seems that John and Joe realy apperacate displayers showing up!!
boy do they ever apperacate it!!
