I agree that Ohio is very nebulous concerning knives. Check out the local ordinances. Most of them have some kind of laws concerning blades. Cleveland and Cuyahoga Falls, in particular, have blade length laws which are enforced. Cleveland and Akron, Cuyahoga and Summit county, are on a Jihad against Dick Walters, a gun show promoter, who beat them in court. They routinely patrol all his shows looking for any knife violation they can find. That is why he won't let anyone sell autos in the Berea and Summit County shows.
