hello,
i went this morning to a gun and knife show, just browsing around, not really planning on buying anything, when i come across a brand new SOG navy seal 2000 knife, listed for $90. after talking the guy down to $80 i said, "ill take it!"
i have been lusting after this knife for quite some time, the retail price is $162, and i couldnt really justify ANOTHER fixed blade knife after i dont really use the ones i have. but i couldnt pass up the deal.

but anyway, im kind of new to collecting, and i was wondering if i could get any recomendations on what i should use to clean the knife. ive already managed to scuff it up on a couple spots while testing it on a tree (dumb, i know) , and it doesnt seem to just want to wipe off, really the only reason i tested it like that was because of the boasting SOG did on the knife.
but just for future reference, what do you guys think i could use to clean it up? i usually use 3 in 1 oil on my knives but i just thought i would ask somone first.
